Kali Gandaki River rafting
The Kali Gandaki has been aptly named after “Kali” the mother of destruction. Considered to be one of the most holy rivers, the Kali Gandaki originates high up above from the Tibetan Plateu. It plunges with full force down the Himalayas through one of the deepest gorges in the world, from between the Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna mountains.

The river passes through spectacular mountain views amalgamated with mountain views, suspension bridges, wildlife and jungles as well as white sandy beaches. Day 01: Kathmandu- Kusma
Day 02: ModiKhola- PurtiGhat
Day 03: PurtiGhat- Mirme
We start our first day of rafting from the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu. After a drive of about 6-7 hours, we will reach Kusma. We start off this day early in the morning to be able to raft for 2-3 hours upon reaching Kusma. The rafting this day will take us into the Little Brother and the Bog Brother rapids which are both equally adventurous. We camp in ModiKhola today.
Today too, we will be getting ready to face the best rapids that can be achieved in our time duration. We will raft all day and lunch in the white sandy beaches along the path. The adventure will surely leave you feeling both satisfied and tired and we will camp today at PurtiGhat.
Today too we will be getting the chance to raft through several great rapids. We start off our day with breakfast and will then raft from PurtiGhat to Mirme. Upon reaching Mirme we will have our lunch and bid farewell to the awesome Kali Gandaki. We will then return back to Pokhara or Kathmandu, wherever is suitable for us.
