LANGTANG VALLEY TREKKING
The another name of Langtang valley is glacier's valley, thus, Langtang valley trekking means valley of glacier's trek which is the nearest Himalayan Region from Kathmandu valley.
Langtang lies in the north of Kathmandu. Only a few hours' drive from Kathmandu will take you to the spectacular and magnificent Langtang Region. This is the best trekking spot for those people who are wishing for a short trek near Kathmandu into the lap of beautiful Himalayas. During our trek to Langtang Region, we can easily view the snow capped mountains and glaciers. The valley is especially influenced by Tibetan lifestyle. The western side of Langtang gives us a chance to view Ganesh Himal. This trek is a special trek to the remote areas where we can watch high mountains, Gosainkund Lake and beautiful valley of Helambu. This is the most demanded and most popular trek in Nepal.

ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU (1300m)
After we arrive at TIA, we will be received by a representative of the airport. After checking in at the airport, we will be transferred to the hotel. We will be welcomed in our hotel with garlands and drinks. We can also spend the day by strolling around the streets of Kathmandu, enjoying the Nepali cuisine and dinner at traditional Nepali restaurant. Overnight at Kathmandu.
SIGHTSEEING AROUND THE KATHMANDU AND PREPARATION (1300m)
There are many historical sites which are also listed as UNESCO Heritage Sites. After having the breakfast in the hotel, we start our journey by visiting the heritage site. The sacred temple for the Hindu Pashupatinath, famous stupa of Buddhist (Swayambhunath), historic Durbar Squares like Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and Basantapur Durbar Square, Boudhanath can be visited. In the evening we will take trekking preparation class which will be beneficial for us during the trek. After lunch, we will check all our equipment necessary for our trek. We will introduce the new fellows and make a group discuss our trip at the hotel. We will spend our night in Kathmandu.
KATHMANDU – SYABRUBESI (1300m – 1550m)
Early in the morning, we will have delicious breakfast in Kathmandu. After few hours in Kathmandu, we will drive towards the north - west hilly part of Kathmandu. During our journey, we will enjoy the views of the Himalayas and unique landscape. We will have lunch at the Trishuli Bazaar and will continue our drive further to Dhunche. Traveling down will take us Syabrubesi where we will stay overnight there.
SYABRUBESI – LAMA HOTEL (1550m – 2380m)
This is the official starting off our trek. After having our breakfast, we will start our journey following the LangtangKhola. Then, we will pass through the dense forest and will cross several suspension bridges. After that, our path includes both lower and upper region but is not challenging.
LAMA HOTEL – KYANJIN GOMPA(2380m – 3870m) VIA LANGTANG VILLAGE (3430m)
We will have tea early in the morning. We will start our trek through dense forests. We will climb through the village and will enjoy spectacular views of LangtangLirung. We will also observe the largest mani wall of Nepal. We will cross many wooden bridges.
EXPLORING KYANJIN GOMPA (3870m) – TSERKO RI (5000m)
After having breakfast early in the morning, we will pass through yak pastures to visit TserkoRi. We will visit TserkoRi to view the beautiful sunrise. We will also view many beautiful scenarios and unique landscape. By afternoon we will return to KanjinGompa and will explore nearby areas. It takes around 5 to 6 hours to visit TserkoRi and return to KyanjinGompa.
KYANJIN GOMPA – LAMA HOTEL (3870m – 2380m)
Our returning back process starts. After having breakfast, we will proceed our journey to Lama Hotel. As walking downhill is always easier that climbing up, it will not be difficult for us while returning back. We will pass through the forest following the river. We will also follow religious and cultural practices there. It takes around 6 to 7 hours to walk to Lama Hotel.
LAMA HOTEL – SYABRUBESI
We will enjoy our last lunch in Lama Hotel and then will start our journey. We will enjoy the path downhill through green vegetation. Walking for around 5 hours, we will reach Syabrubesi where we will take lunch. In our leisure, we will visit nearby places of Syabrubesi. We will enjoy a campfire at night.
SYABRUBESI – KATHMANDU
After enjoying our last breakfast in Syabrubesi, we will walk up to bus station and catch a bus that will take us to Kathmandu. We will reach Kathmandu after 7 hours drive. After reaching Kathmandu, we will have lunch. We will also observe the places near during the evening time. In the hotel, we will have a farewell dinner. We all the trek members will chit chat for a short period of time and will possibly make a plan for next visit. We will also celebrate this day. We will camp fire and enjoy this night with the trek members.
This is the last day of our memorable long trip. We will have our last breakfast in Kathmandu and spent out some remaining time in a qualitative manner. Then we will have our meal and we will go to Tribhuwan International Airport.
