Sightseeing around Kathmandu

The Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Sqaure, Patan Durbar Sqaure, Pashupatinath Temple, Syambunath Temple, Boudanath Stupa are such destinations to visit today. Adequate preparations for the upcoming adventure too can be carried out today.

Day 03:

Kathmandu- Last Resort- Kathmandu (1300m- 160m-1300m)

Last Resort is the location from where the Bungy jump will be carried out. It is situated at a distance of 100 kilometers northeast from Kathmandu and is within 12 kilometers of the border to Tibet. The 166m wide suspension bridge with a 4X safety factor is the safest place to jump from, provided you have a strong heart and are not afraid of heights. After a short briefing from the jump master, you can finally jump. The jump in itself is a heart thrilling experience whereby you can feel the wind gushing past you as you free-fall down, close to the Bhote Koshi River. The scenery seen from embarking on the jump and the adrenaline rush associated with it will surely be an experience of a lifetime worth remembering. After embarking on the thrilling jump, you can visit a resort nearby, have lunch and rest before returning back to Kathmandu. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you can either further explore the city and collect souveniers or take a rest.
