The EBC – Cho La Pass – Gokyo Trek is a premier high-altitude adventure in the Everest region, specifically designed for those seeking a more comprehensive and challenging experience than the classic route. This 14-day itinerary combines the legendary trek to Everest Base Camp (5,365m) with the pristine beauty of the Gokyo Lakes and a dramatic crossing of the technical Cho La Pass (5,420m).
Trekkers enjoy dual vantage points: Kala Patthar (5,545m) for the most iconic close-up of Mount Everest, and Gokyo Ri (5,357m) for a breathtaking panorama of four 8,000-meter giants—Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. The journey concludes with a spectacular scenic helicopter flight from Gokyo directly back to Lukla, providing a unique bird’s-eye view of the Ngozumpa Glacier and skipping days of exhausting downhill trekking.
