The Mt. Dhaulagiri Expedition 2026 is an elite-level mountaineering challenge to the seventh-highest peak in the world, standing at 8,167m. Known as the “White Mountain,” Dhaulagiri offers a formidable technical climb in the Dhaulagiri Himal range of the Nepalese Himalayas. This comprehensive 40-day expedition by Nima Adventure is designed for experienced high-altitude climbers, featuring a robust 26-day climbing window that allows for critical acclimatization rotations and multiple summit push opportunities.
The journey begins with a transition from the vibrant culture of Kathmandu to the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara, followed by a trek through the unique landscapes of Hidden Valley and the crossing of Thapa Pass (5,244m). With professional Sherpa support, individualized camping at Base Camp, and the option for a helicopter return, this expedition provides a world-class framework for scaling one of the Earth’s most majestic 8,000-meter giants.
